Financial, marketing and feasibility contributions to create, expand, or modernize business.
- Nova Scotia Business Inc.
Lines of business includes: business attraction, business retention and expansion, trade promotion, and lending & finance.
- Northern Opportunities for Business Ltd.
Small business loans, counseling on business proposals, business plans, financial spreadsheets, income support for some establishing businesses, and equity financing.
- Pictou County Chamber of Commerce
Provide a united voice for the business community and sponsors business related economic development activities.
- Pictou Regional Development Commission
Promotes the growth of the local business community and coordinates business development activities.
- Self Employment Benefit Program (SEB)
Assisting employment insurance and social assistance recipients in developing and implementing self-employment business ideas.
- Black Business Investment Fund
This fund serves as an investment option for the Black Business community in Nova Scotia and it has the support of the provincial authorities. This community-focused Fund is created to facilitate economic growth and enhance prosperity within the Nova Scotia Black community.

- Community Access Program (C@P)
