Trenton Airport
Trenton Airport is owned and operated by the Town of Trenton and is centrally located on an 85.4 hectare property. The airport is classified as a local commercial airport. It has a Unicom Communications System with radio-activated runway, lights for night use and a registered Class C non-directional beacon for navigational use. Flight planning and weather information services are provided by the Halifax flight services station.
There are two paved runways: the larger one is 5,000 feet long and 145 wide, while the smaller is 2,200 feet long and 60 feet wide. Accommodation is available for over twenty light aircraft. An aircraft fueling system is available for both Jet and Aviation Fuel. Trenton Airport’s location identifier is CYTN. The terminal building is 30,000 sq. feet and the airport has a 10,000 sq. ft. heated hangar.
Trenton Airport is located 105 Kms. from Halifax International Airport. Courier services are available and will transport small freight on route.
